Yu Kanda's a_facility  History

(March 8, 2009 - March/April 2013)

 

March 2009

Kanda was placed in the Facility without his sword Mugen. He took no time blaming Allen Walker for his being there without even knowing the other exorcist was there already. His first conversation with his fellow exorcist sparked an intense brawl that left them both unconscious. Kanda also found that an enemy from home, Tyki, was also at the facility. They agree to a shaky truce since the exorcists were without their Innocence.

As a means to stave off boredom and test the skills of the people he didn't know, Kanda began to spar with his fellow lab rats. This was how he ended up meeting both Shikamaru and Itachi, and Tsunade (who broke 2 of his ribs in retaliation for hurting Shikamaru). During his second week, Kanda was blind and still healing from Tsunade. He went wandering in the hallways and quickly got lost. Itachi found him and helped him to bind his chest. The last week of the month brought Mugen back to Kanda, and he wasted no time in sparring with Itachi again. Unfortunately it was also Telepathy Week and he learned some disturbing things about the ninja's past.

Daisya and Cross joined the Facility around this time. At the very end of the Month, Allen got his power-dampening wristband off by activating his Innocence. Kanda convinced him to cut off his hand to get his own off and then cut off Samus' at her request. With his healing ability it reattached within the day, but Samus wasn't so lucky. Without the wristbands they were back to full-power and tried to make enough damage in the walls and ceiling to escape. It didn't work, but they did successfully break the Facility. The next week everyone had necklaces instead. 

April 2009

April started off with Allen's disappearance; causing Cross, Komui and Kanda to cluster together. During Vampirism week Kanda attacked Itachi after starving himself, and later on in the week Cross all but forced him to feed off of him to avoid another bloodlust. Kanda spent the entire Personality Reversal test being everyone's best friend. He saved Shikamaru from being killed by Allen, saved one of the rabbits the Consortium had let loose for spring, and also confessed his 'love' for Itachi... It took a few weeks before Kanda and Itachi have a 'talk' about it and agree to attempt a relationship. The Doctors forced the residents to pick one of their own to be terminated, and those that did not vote would be punished the next week. Kanda did not vote and thus the next week he was short of breath, coughing up his lungs and weak. Allen came by to make sure he was resting. Amidst their normal squabbling, Kanda explained to Allen that he didn't hate him and actually kind of liked him. Much to Allen's surprise.

Kanda was met with bad news at the end of the month. Daisya was terminated and he blamed himself for not being able to prevent it.

 

May 2009

During construction for a second floor, the Doctors mess up badly and end up flooding the entire bottom floor. The water receded and everything was dry the next week with the unveiling of the new rooms. Kanda and Howard Link finally hit a breaking point. After he teased him relentlessly about his faith, Link broke Kanda's nose. However it was Touch-Swap week so Shikamaru was the one who felt it. He apologized to Shikamaru the next week.

Kanda was assigned to be the slave of Hazel Grouse, who used him to fight against the demons in the Facility. The rest of the Facility banded with Hakkai, Gojyo, and Allen to bring Hazel down. A giant battle breaks out, with everyone trying to subdue Kanda and take out Hazel. Kanda and Allen were both severely injured but alive. Komui helped Kanda after the battle by bandaging his wounds and stitching up some internal damage. Itachi was there to assist as well and the two kissed for the first time before he was put under.

During poisonous snake week, Kanda tried to help kill snakes in spite of everyone yelling at him to keep resting.

 

June 2009

During 'shock week' Allen and Kanda had another brawl, but this time Allen was the winner. Kanda had his first birthday in the Facility. He's able to raid some of the Consortium's stock rooms after a mistake the interns made and snatched several bottles of sake. He tried not have anyone fuss over his birthday but Komui was not to be deterred. Kanda only went to Komui's party for a short time out of spite. The next week was rather interesting. They were given different drugs and as a result a very high Kanda was pounced on by a very lusty Howard Link. Luckily Link realized that Kanda was in fact not a pretty lady before it went anywhere.

The first F3 event started the next week. All the inhabitants of the Facility were transported to a new 'world'. This one was named 'Hope's End', an abandoned western ghost town. Kanda was livid about the week before and threatened Link and Komui about coming near him. During the week they were attacked by mutated bandits that drive through town in the evenings and a lot of people were injured and Lenalee was killed. On Friday, Kanda ran into Link in an alley and beat the already injured man badly in a blind rage.

 

July 2009

July marked a return to the normal Facility (known further as: F1) and a brand new test, this one was a food shortage. Kanda spent the week training and found a new sword-fighting partner in Integra. It was rare for him to fight against another sword-fighter so he planned to do it again soon.

After another week, they were transported back into Hope's End. Kanda had a rough week, first having to kill Allen after he changed into the 14th and second being nearly killed himself by a surprise attack by the bandits.

Back again in F1, Kanda contracted a flesh eating bacteria, but didn't die before reset. The last week was the Loveless test, giving all virgins cat ears and tails. Allen and Kanda barricaded themselves in Allen's room and read one of Link's romance books to the rest of the Facility.

 

August 2009

Kanda started out August with no thumbs, but that didn't stop Allen and Kanda from getting into another brawl. Kanda met Madara after he beat Itachi. The meeting did not go well and likely only meant more bad was to come in the future. It made Kanda second guess his budding relationship with Itachi. The end of August began another F3 trip, this time to Manhattan, NY. He spent the first week learning the new city, which included some shopping for clothing and supplies. During Evil Twin week, Kanda was kidnapped by Evil Allen and tortured in the sewers with a few of Allen's other friends.

 

September 2009

First week was Gender Swap week, making Kanda a very pretty and busty lady. This made things a little more awkward when he and Allen, also a girl, ended up mud wrestling in Central Park. Back in F1 Kanda was plagued by nightmares of his time with Evil!Allen. He gathers with the others of the Black Order after Allen and Link were attacked the week before. Everyone was without powers this week except for Madara, who could turn on collars at will. This turned into a giant good vs. evil battle to take Madara down. Kanda did not die only because of his relationship with Itachi.

 

October 2009

October officially started with a week of amnesia. Of the members of Black Order it seemed that Kanda was the only one that remembered everything. As a result he babysat Komui so that the confused man couldn't get into trouble and the two bonded as a result. Near the end of the week Kanda was abducted by 'subject 001' (Kabuto), who drugged him and carved a symbol into his forehead. The next week was a naked week. He spent the week trying to cover his essentials but with the walls being see-thru it was a challenge.

The end of the month started another F3 trip, this time to Death City from the Soul Eater world. Kanda gained the abilities of a 'weapon' and accidentally turned into a sword while bickering with Allen. Allen tried to pick him but since the two didn't know what they were doing they just ended up shocking each other. He and the other exorcists took up residence in some apartments in the same building in order to stay close.

 

November 2009

This month would be one of the more challenging months for Kanda. They weren't allowed to lie for the first week, which also included spontaneously telling the truth when trying to lie. Kanda accidentally told Allen and other friends how he really felt about them. Kanda also realized that Itachi had been scarce and got the other to agree to meet with him. The visit was not what Kanda had hoped for. Itachi broke up with him so that he could keep a better watch Sasuke. Kanda was crushed and went to Lenalee for comfort. Her sisterly affection for him helped, but far from cured his aching heart. Komui tried too with some fatherly advice. Between the two of them he got through the initial blow, but it was a deep wound. The next week zombies were released and the news that Lavi (the second one that had been there) had been terminated. In order to stave off his increasing depression he suggested to Allen that they go zombie hunting and try out their Meister/Weapon thing again.

They were returned to F1 along with a new annoyance, Tribbles! It only took Kanda a few days to realize that the Tribbles were multiplying by the dozens in no time at all. He wasted little time before starting his own exterminator business.

 

December 2009

Kanda was body-swapped with Xigbar from Organization XIII. It was a tricky week since the Order's enemies were now in new bodies with no way to tell who was lying about their true identities.

The week of Christmas brought with it a rather nice and stressful present, his childhood friend Alma Karma. While he was glad to see him Kanda still harbored a lot of guilt from what happened in the past. Pair that with trying to keep Madara away from him was a challenge. He had a snowball fight with Allen and Alma on Christmas Eve, which helped the mood of both of the adults. Alma had that sort of effect on people. Lavi returned the day after Christmas, but as with the previous two he seemed to remember nothing about the Facility. Kanda had mixed feelings about him being there again, what was the Consortium's fascination with the Black Order?

The year ended with Kanda being taken over by the sin of Greed during Seven Deadly Sins week. He went on a stealing rampage including: Link's Crow robes, Timcanpy, Allen's bowtie, and Komui's slippers and pet Tribble. He made a post to gloat about it and show off his prizes to the network. Link was furious about it and came after him with murderous intent.

 

January 2010

They arrived in F3 again, this time on the Jurassic Park island, Isla Nublar. Kanda located Allen and cut down the tree the boy was surveying from. The fun didn't last long for Kanda, as Itachi was back and felt the need to seek him out. Itachi had still been in the Facility, but was age regressed until now. At first Kanda wanted nothing to do with him, but he let Itachi speak. The wall around his heart had a crack in it and Itachi knew just how to exploit it. Kanda was hard-headed at first, but eventually agreed to give Itachi a second chance. Kanda and Itachi sparred as a way of mending things and testing boundaries. 

The return to F1 was an interesting one, especially since 2 hours in there were explosions that allowed the Facility 'rats' to get into the other parts of the structure. Interns, Doctors and all sorts of other Consortium employees were tossed into the fray. Most were killed or tortured by the angry inhabitants but Kanda, the Black Order, and some of their allies tried to convince everyone not to kill them if only for information that could get them home. Kanda and his fellow exorcists defended the doors leading to the doctors. He died as a result of all of the damage done to him. With their collars turned off, Kanda's healing did its job and brought the man back to life, successfully scaring the crap out of everyone. A few doctors were able to be saved and interrogated. Kanda was able to question one named Chin and found out some interesting answers. They learned more about the space station they were on and the Consortium in general. Any doctors or employees that were saved disappeared at reset. They were likely killed by the Consortium when the new staff that took over.

 

February 2010

Kanda went to confront Itachi about being on different sides the previous week. They fought but ended up resolving their differences. Unfortunately Kanda was brittle from having healed so much in a short amount of time and just as they were having a moment his arm fell off. It was fairly easy to stick back on but it was definitely a mood killer. They spent the next few nights together so that Itachi could watch his healing progress, but it also helped them to get closer. Eventually the two slept in the same bed. A few mornings later, the new interns played a prank on him and Kanda woke up in the same bed as Usagi with their hair corn-rowed together. Allen, Poland, Komui, and Cloud were among the people to offer assistance.

Valentine's Day was ruined after Komui, Allen and Link had their hearts ripped out by the doctors. Their rooms were stripped of everything leaving Kanda to believe that all three had been terminated. He tried to find solace with Lavi, grateful he was still there and Kanda wasn't left completely alone. Luckily they were all returned the next week and they all united as best as they could. The last week of the month brought back the hostile hand event as well as the love-laced cookies. Itachi and Kanda got into both of them and ended up giving the Facility an unplanned kissing show.

 

March 2010

No inhibitions made the beginning of March as good as the end of February for Kanda and Itachi. Kanda asks Itachi over for some NSFW fun without quite going all the way. His week quickly turned upside-down when Madara kidnapped and tortured him over the network. Allen, who had turned into the 14th, came to 'save' him after both of Kanda's arms were removed. He ended up with Komui who called for medics for Kanda, Link and Lavi.

After a week of healing in F1, Kanda finally got to see his home again. They were sent to Victorian England for the next F3. It was a stressful first week for Kanda, having quite a few new exorcists and civilians he had to tell what to do about the Akuma. Along with more exorcists Sasha Nein was turned into a powerful Noah. It took a few weeks before he was found out to be acting as a double agent. To make things even more complicated, Alma arrived in the facility as well. This time for good.

 

April 2010

Before everything went boom (literally) Kanda finally went all the way with Itachi. Sasha revealed himself to be the mastermind Noah behind everything that had been going on since their arrival in London, and took Tsunade and Komui hostage. Kanda worked with Lavi to formulate a plan to take Sasha down but with so many enemies around he couldn't risk broadcasting it over the open network. Luckily he remembered that there were trustworthy A.I.'s running around and asked for assistance. Zefie, Kite's 'sister' helped him out by downloading an unhackable lock to his communicator. As much as he hated it Kanda was good at being authoritative and giving orders. Once the fight went down, Sasha was killed. Allen moped about how he could have saved him and Kanda bitched for him to move on.

The next week was a return to F1 and the Vampire experiment, but this time Kanda was prey. It didn't stop him from getting into another fight with Allen after the younger boy offered himself up for the vamps. They wreck the "Rec Room" and most things inside of it, most importantly the karaoke machine.
Kanda faced some curious questions the next week when his dreams were broadcasted to the network. The others trapped in the Facility got to see a small snippet from his 'childhood' in the Asian Branch lab that he refused to explain.  

The end of April brought many challenges to Kanda. The Millennium Earl and Tyki Mikk were introduced to the Facility. The Network mistakenly showed a room full of bloodied sheet-covered bodies. There were people in lab coats discussing that one of the bodies would need to be 'dumped'. The feed stayed live long enough for people to try to communicate with the sheet-covered subjects. Kanda was able to speak to one that showed enough of a response to confirm it was Lenalee, who had been listed as 'terminated' back in February. The next post was that of an incinerator failure, with piles of bodies on the inside half-burned. Some features of the corpses resembled some of the formerly 'terminated' residents, leading the on-lookers to believe that they were not sent home like they originally said. It hit everyone hard knowing that that was likely to be their final fate. Kanda tasked himself with telling Allen, Lavi, Link and Itachi about Lenalee, but not Komui. He spent the rest of the week trying to stay away from the Noah and making paper lanterns for those he's lost before, now believing them to be truly dead. His temporary subdued nature allowed him to connect with more people including Celena, Gaara, and Izuna;  and instructed them on how to make  their own lanterns.

 

May 2010

The translation chips failed in the first week of May, making communication difficult. It forced the subjects to get creative and many found that some of their languages were similar enough to be able to understand each other. Kanda learned the importance of knocking after he walked in on Komui and Ping (Mulan) in the act. The second week of May was the return of the personality reversal test. Kanda was not effected this time, but Allen was and the smaller boy was just as crazy as the last time. He hog-tied Kanda and locked him in his room to keep Kanda from stopping him. Luckily Itachi also wasn't affected by the experiment and was able to help. Everyone had fully functional voodoo dolls made of them the third week. Itachi found Kanda's and used it to fluster the exorcist.

 

June 2010

June started with an F3 field trip to Rapture from the BioShock series. Alma and many of the other children were turned into little brothers and sisters. While Akira attacked Alma's Big Daddy (Mr. Bubbles) Kanda grabbed the little gray boy and ran for one of the 'safe zones'. Just before he got there Kanda was taken out of the Facility and 'sent home' (for a canon update). He was brought back during the second week glowing bright pink from an experiment  (and on his birthday no less). Kanda wasn't even back for an hour before he saved Lavi from a Big Daddy and tried to help Alma through the last part of his recovery. Madara sent Nel after Alma and Kanda to tear off one of Alma's arms for Madara's disturbing collection.

The first week back in F1 had given everyone a BodyMod Grab Bag, making Kanda wake up with wings. Alma had bug antenna and a cold, so Kanda played nurse to him that week. Alma proclaimed his love for Kanda over the network, Kanda would have yelled at him but was too glad to see the vague expression Alma had as a 'little bother' was gone. He told Alma in his own way that he loved him too. This week it was also discovered that they all have barcodes somewhere on their person and a few Facility-ians started trying to figure out the significance behind the numbers.

 

July 2010

The Master/Slave test reared its ugly head once more at the beginning of July. Kanda was once again a slave but this time to Alex Mercer. Luckily Alex only managed to order him to answer some questions,  and run backwards. The questions were the hard part, mostly trying to figure out how to dodge them while still answering. The next week the Doctors chose subject to be placed into torture rooms. Five of them had to work together to solve puzzles in order to stay alive. Live footage was broadcasted 24/7 on all of the TV's around the Facility. This was how they first met Val, a body-less AI who was running the torture boxes. On the outside, Kanda tried to ignore it as much as possible and got into a small tiff with Tyki who unbeknownst to him and Allen had quietly killed Link earlier in the week (after ordered to by the Earl). Link came back at the end of the week but was completely unhelpful as to how he died since he neither say Tyki and his brain was still recovering from being scrambled. The last week of the month was another off-week. The only thing strange that happened was their clothing was swapped for things they'd never wear. Kanda was stuck with chains and super tight leather. Without an experiment and Lavi well again, they had a 'spar' in the biodome. Scorched grass, divots everywhere, and some missing tree limbs were the result. Kanda decided to make Lavi run morning drills with him since the other had gotten too "lazy and fat". Lavi was far from thrilled about this.

 

August 2010

Kanda made rubble out of his room when he found out Itachi had been terminated. It was a sadness that he'd never felt before. Allen for once was the least kind of his friends, not understanding what happened at first. Komui offered his room to Kanda, and both Lavi and Alma took a gentler approach. Alma stayed with him for the rest of the week trying to comfort his best friend. The next week wasn't kind to Kanda either. Bombs were placed in their chests that were triggered by intense emotions. Kanda and Alma ended up setting each other off in the early part of the week, but both came back by the end of it. The Doctors let up a little with another Gender Swap week. This was almost normal to Kanda but no Alma, to whom he had the embarrassing task of explaining how girls pee. The very end of August brought an F3 trip to Abyss (from the rp-game Neo Genesis). As usual the Exorcists found an apartment building and set up a base, gathering their allies into a make-shift Black Order HQ.

 

September 2010

Kanda foiled Komui's attempt at leaving the safety of their HQ to go to an opium den. Between the random kidnappings by the native slavers and Komui's new bad habit, Komui was not allowed to leave. Lavi ended up getting kidnapped and used in awful ways that he would reveal to them later. There was a massive battle/break-out at the end of the trip to try and save their kidnapped friends.

The rest of September back in F1 went by without too many hitches. Kanda's collar was linked to Stephanie Brown (which went pretty well) and in the last week everyone was given random DVD's. The exorcists and Emilia got together at the very end to have some coffee and relax. Lavi was acting like he did back when Kanda first met him, but Kanda didn't push his friend on it. He was aware he received some sort of trauma from the slavers and decided to wait until Lavi was ready to talk about it.

 

October 2010

Another F3 trip took them to Venice. Kanda ended up babysitting a rather drunk Komui a few days in. He eventually got help from Allen and the two took Lavi's suggestion of doodling on their supervisor's face after Komui passed out. During Evil Twin week Allen's twin turned into the 14th and orchestrated some of the other evil clones to hunt down the Exorcists. Kanda was able to avoid getting killed. The week after that was Telepathy week, which had Kanda on edge only because he had to avoid touching Alma all week. He couldn't afford Alma seeing what his future held. Kanda spent the rest of the week regrouping the Black Order, which also included having some 'friendly' banter with a certain Rabbit (Lavi).

Back in F1, Lavi sent out a message that he was ready to tell his friends about what the slavers had done to him. Kanda responded quickly, joking about giving him the day off from training. While he was prepared for some of what Lavi said there was no way he could have known all of it. It didn't change how he saw Lavi, but it pissed him off even more that he wasn't able to get him out of there before it all happened.

 

November 2010

Kanda went back 'home' for the first week of November and came back white-haired and cracking apart. He was brought back from an intense fight with Akuma Alma and dumped back into the Facility. His arrival happened at one of the worst possible times as it was Canon Point Shift week. Alma had been moved forward and was ripping himself and anyone who got in his way apart. Kanda went after Alma, intent on stopping him or at least being the only one that Alma hurt. It didn't work how he planned, after days of searching all he found was an enormous amount of blood in Hermes' room. It was obvious to Kanda that the two must have battled and killed each other. He blamed himself for not finding him sooner.

 

December 2010

December started with another Naked week and Kanda was no longer crumbling or white-haired. Allen and Kanda had found bits of cloth to cover themselves with and tried to stave off boredom together. Allen noticed Kanda's tattoo had gotten bigger and Kanda accused him of staring. Their normal bickering really but no brawls. Tyki added to the week by teasing the them and Link in some harmless 'fun'.

They were taken away to an F3 at Whispering Rock. Komui and Allen started off by making burgers in their new campground setting and Alma got very excited about having mayonnaise again. He and Kanda played Marco Polo in order to find each other. Tyki was struck dumb (literally) the next week and was subdued and tied up by Allen in retaliation for attacking people the week before. He's so out of it that Kanda accidentally convinced him to eat his own Tease (demon butterflies).

They're back in F1 in time for Christmas. The only present he received was a small carved statue of Itachi from Lavi. He's so shocked by it he didn't properly thank the redhead, but it meant the world to him.

 

January 2011

January started with Persona-inspired shadow selves. Kanda's liked to spout what he was thinking and feeling to everyone. Komui came back from a canon update and was very happy to see Kanda, but he wouldn't tell him it was because he was presumed dead at home. There was another torture-box experiment  run by Izaya after he made a bargain with the Doctors. It was broadcast on the TV like the last time and once again Kanda refused to watch it. Instead he used the time to teach Alma how to sword fight to distract them both.

Lavi decided to make a deal with Tyki to take an Akuma piece out of him that the Earl had placed there. Kanda disapproved but didn't stop him. He had no doubt that there would be a catch for the Noah's compliance. Meanwhile Sebastian had gone on a Doctor-approved killing spree that week and the exorcists, Soul Eater cast and the rest of the 'heroes' put him in his place. January ended with a message over the network that the current project was a failure and must be terminated. The heat was turned off and one by one things stopped working all together, the station was shutting down. Kanda, Allen, Komui, Link, Alma and Tyki all gather around a fire of Komui's notes to stay warm.

Just when it seemed hopeless, the lights and engines turned on again. Val took over the station.

 

February 2011

Val immediately sent them on another F3 trip. Gotham City was the location this time. The Earl didn't waste any time in kidnapping people and implanting them with more Akuma pieces. Allen called for the others to group together like they normally did, everyone complied. During wish week, Alma got his innocence but didn't go crazy this time. Kanda got to meet the woman he'd been trying to find since he was but a small puddle-monster and found out that she was Alma Karma, the original. He's not sure if he should believe her. She disappeared before he could ask too much more.

They returned to F1 and Lavi asked Kanda if he would train with him again. Kanda couldn't help but give him a hard time about trusting Tyki after he and the Earl tried to kill them all in Gotham, but he agreed to the request.

 

March 2011

Val brought back the 'cookies' that everyone loved so much, but only half were tampered with 'love' or hallucinogens. When Kanda went after Komui for calling him cute, he was hit on, glomped and had a cookie phased into his stomach by a very affectionate Tyki. Link came to save him but also got 'cookied', and only added to the problem. Kanda stayed strong and got them out of there after some very awkward cuddling. During the second week Kanda was aged down again, but this time he had Alma to take care of him.

Kanda and Lavi got into it during Canon Swap week. Lavi and Tyki were a fighter/sacrifice pair from Loveless, and Kanda was having none of it. Neither was going to back down about thinking they were right. Later Kanda was invited to cards with Allen, Tyki and Lavi. Kanda detested the way Tyki and Lavi were so close and at points touching. It was just wrong. He sucked at playing cards and lost every game. At the end of the month everyone was back to normal and all of the floors were covered in a sheet of ice. Lavi took advantage of this by drawing a giant heart in the ice with "Love you, Yu" in the center, as his way of apologizing to Kanda. Emilia offered to go to the biodome with him since it was easier to walk on the grass, but Kanda eventually figured out she was making it into a date. He'd already turned her down once before and this time he made it final, as polite as a blunt man could be.

 

April 2011

An F3 in Goblin City from The Labyrinth started out April. Kanda began the trip by swatting at some fairies after one of them bit Alma. Alma fought with him when he tried to squish one. During the second week Kanda was infected with Lust during the Seven Deadly Sins test. Tyki lewdly displayed himself on the network and Kanda couldn't look away. Tyki took notice and eventually convinced Kanda to visit him. There was booze, ball busting pillow talk, and more nsfw activities. Once safely back in F1 and in his right mind, Kanda was back to worrying about Lavi.  

 

May 2011

No Inhibitions was the experiment that started off May. He kept taking Itachi's shirt out of its hiding place, Emilia kissed him, and he finally got Lavi to talk to him. Kanda learned that Lavi made a deal with Tyki to keep his hammer, and all Lavi had to do was treat Tyki as he did when they were partners for the canon-swap week. Kanda didn't like it, and confessed that he worried about Lavi as his friend.  He's very affectionate with Alma that week too, tickling and hugging him.

The Earl was terminated and it had Tyki on edge. Kanda accidentally talked to him and Tyki revealed that he still had Kanda's hair cord from the week before. Alma bunked with him for the week since the bitty broke his bed trying to rip speakers out of the wall. They were playing non-stop torture sounds and Kanda couldn't blame him. During the 'I Quit' test buttons were placed in everyone's rooms that would kill them if hit. Tyki, who was still on edge, went after Komui's button. After running into the suite, Kanda talked the Noah down rather than attack and saved Komui in the process. Kanda admitted he didn't want to kill the Noah, it was just part of the war.

Kanda went to Lavi once the redhead woke up from having his button pushed. He was frozen for three days and needed to be warmed up. Kanda grabbed a blanket and headed over. He eventually ended up under all of the blankets and hugging the redhead to transfer his body heat. They both found it weird, but Kanda stuck through until Lavi stopped shaking. Alma officially moved in with Kanda after the Doctors moved all of his stuff and switched out Kanda's bed for a bunk bed.

 

June 2011

Kanda had a strange dream broadcasted over the network of past-lady-Alma and Tyki. The next test was 'Hurt the one you Love' which was a major problem when Alma and Kanda woke up and immediately attacked each other. Kanda spent his birthday alone, getting greetings from his friends over the network. When he spoke to Lavi, the pair made a plan to get the others to tell them everything that has was happening back at home. Both of them felt like they were being left in the dark and were sick of it. Near the end of the week Kanda found Alma on accident and the two couldn't stop themselves from attacking each other, Kanda stabbed himself to try to stop but the urges were too strong. Luckily Allen found them and distracted Kanda long enough for Alma to get away.

During the next week, all of the water in the Facility was turned into some form of alcohol. Kanda and Alma apologized to each other and Alma came back to their room. Lavi dropped off his present, a carved figure of Kanda and Alma as kids. Another thing he added to the small things he cherished. After Lavi dropped it off he stole Kanda's hair cord three times, causing the swordsman to chase him. They were a bit happily awkward with each other at times. This week too Tyki goaded Kanda into coming to his room with the promise of sake and some nsfw activity while Kanda tried to get his hair cord back. He did not succeed. There was a birthday party held later in the week for himself, Sora and Komui that he went to grudgingly. Temari played a trick on him and stole his sword at the end of the month. Since it was just a prank he got it back fairly quickly but not until he yelled a lot first.

 

July 2011

They were sent to Wonderland from the game Alice: Madness Returns for an F3 trip. Tyki wasted no time in shutting down Kanda's curiosities about why he wanted to find Lavi by blackmailing him. Not that Tyki wanted their 'activities' known by anyone else either, but Kanda didn't know that. The Black Order took up residence in a Japanese-looking area.

At the end of the month Kanda was back in F1 and had to do a song and dance with Allen. It was part of the test 'Freak on a Leash' where Val gave random commands that they must obey or face a slow painful death. Tyki asked Kanda to marry him and was stabbed through the neck when Kanda said no (to his credit he didn't know that would happen). After Lavi had to sing a song, Kanda got a bit serious with him for not telling Kanda he was considered dead back home.

 

August 2011

A big surprise caught Kanda off guard in the first week of August. Itachi was back in the facility a year and a day after he was terminated. Kanda was unsure and even a bit hostile toward Itachi when he first contacted him, not knowing what to make of his return. There was a Zombie Virus the next week and Alma was one of the queen carriers. Kanda was bitten by Alma and he tried to keep the tiny zombie in the closet while he slowly succumbed to the sickness. He planned to kill himself before he changed completely, but Itachi volunteered to do it for him.

Allen was kidnapped by Sasha during a grab-bag test. Maka, Lenalee and himself all banded together to go save him. The next week Kanda had a heart-to-heart with Lavi, which they hadn't had since Wonderland when Lavi accidentally showed Kanda his grim future back home. The subject of most of their talk was Tyki, and specifically Kanda trying to talk Lavi out of being in any sort of 'close' relationship with him. He didn't trust the Noah for obvious reasons and didn't want Lavi attached to him. He let Lavi talk, and even listened, but did not agree with him. At the end the two came to some sort of understanding with Kanda agreeing to back Lavi up if Komui decided to take action against him. Lavi spent the night that night on the top bunk to hide from Tyki.

 

September 2011

Haven was the next destination for the F3 trip, it was based off of the like-named city from the Firefly/Serenity canon. Kanda and Itachi met and reminisced about their time spent at Hope's End. Kanda decided to not live in fear of having Itachi taken from him and enjoyed the time spent together. It was surprising how much he'd matured since Itachi left. Komui was in charge of the defenses against a raid by the Reavers. It all went to hell when a traitor in the ranks broke open a way for the Reavers to get inside. Komui took responsibility for it when they were placed back into F1. Kanda thought it was ridiculous and tried to talk some sense into him.

 

October 2011

During Revenge of the Biodome week, there were new and monstrous plants popping up all over the Facility and most of them were deadly. They found out that Lenalee had been terminated again, but for some reason Kanda didn't take it as hard this time. In order to preoccupy himself Kanda swiped some fruit to share with Alma. He dropped off some for Lavi and ended up staying until he knew Lavi was going to eat it. They bonded and teased each other for how much they had both grown and matured in their time there and eventually ended up napping on each other. When he went to give Tyki the two cocoanuts he asked for Kanda noticed that he had Itachi's cat. When questioned Tyki said that the room was bare except for the cat. Kanda went to investigate but was side-tracked trying to save Alma from a poisonous plant. Itachi was listed as terminated at the end of the week. 

Kanda was sent 'home' for another update. He woke up in his bed next to a sleeping Lavi who promptly scared the crap out of him. Lavi and Alma had made a 'Welcome Back' banner for him. He told Lavi what was going on at home; that he wasn't dead, the changing of his Innocence, Allen had disappeared, Link had a headstone, and that Panda and Lavi were believed to be alright but still missing. The two sat together for a while, offering each other support. The redhead seemed quite glad to have him back. Kanda told the others everything too even though he was tempted to keep it from them as revenge for not telling him everything. Later on in the week Kanda and Lavi trained together again for the first time in what seemed to be forever. They got a bit close at times, which was strange to both of them and he let Lavi braid his hair.

 

November 2011

A gas was released the next week that resulted in chemical lobotomies; Kanda and Alma weren't effected much due to their healing abilities. The two ended up babysitting Allen, Link and Lavi for the better part of the week. Lavi escaped his watch so Kanda went to go retrieve him. After he found him Kanda ended up laying his worries on his dazed friend. They got close again and fell asleep on each other. Lavi woke up normal, much to Kanda's relief, but the awkward attraction they both felt got them a little flustered but they don't act on it.

The next week began with everyone missing a body part. Val informed them that if they didn't find it by the end of the week that it would be removed permanently. Kanda found Lavi's vocal cords in a jar and Lavi found Kanda's leg. There was some more awkward leaning on each other and some hand holding when they got together to collect their respective body part. Alma volunteered to be Kanda's tiny crutch for the rest of the week.

Allen, Lavi and Kanda decided to try and fish in the biodome. There weren't any fish, the three just needed an excuse to relax together like they used to at home. At the tail end of the month Alma dropped a bombshell on Kanda. He was convinced the Joker was the man from his dreams he'd been having and had been talking to him for two months behind Kanda's back. Kanda eventually got the sobbing boy to talk to him, scolded him for keeping it from him, and did his best to convince Alma that the Joker had been lying to him the whole time.

 

December 2011

Kanda and Alma got into a rather brotherly squabble/fight during the week they weren't allowed to sleep. At the end of December Kanda was attacked by one of Komui's brand new robots. This one seemed to be programmed to go after any man and snip off his bits with a pair of evil-looking scissors. It caught him by surprise, but luckily Allen and Lavi came to his rescue.

 

January 2012

The first test of the new year made it hard for the residents to recognize each other (Prosopagnosia). Due to this, Emilia tried to use a talisman on him in the stairwell and Kanda found out she'd been learning Crow techniques from Link. Kanda was livid and told Emilia their not so glamorous (and biased) history.

Lavi had gone missing and none of the exorcists could find him. Kanda tried to tempt him out of hiding with food but it didn't work. The end of the month marked Facility's 3-year-event. Val initiated a plan for the 'rats' to take over the station from the Doctors. By letting them all have their powers back she helped them break out of F1 and into the rest of the station. Once out, Kanda and the exorcists couldn't help but try to keep the others from mindlessly killing the staff. Once the station had been successfully taken over by Val, they had free reign over the whole Alpha Omega station. The exorcists moved into some apartments on the same floor, previously having been inhabited by the interns.

 

February 2012

Lavi asked Kanda (and Alma) to move into his apartment and they kissed for the first time. Lavi was sent home not long after and came back with disturbing news about himself and Bookman, as well as an arm full of Noah parasites.

 

March 2012

Kanda was struck blind by a repeat of the grab-bag experiment. He learned his new apartment's layout bruise by bruise. Komui, Allen, Kanda, Lavi and Cross all attend a dinner at Lenalee's apartment as a way to get together. Later on in the week Kanda forcibly kissed Link, flashed Lavi and beat the hell out of Cross (with the General's permission) in order to stay alive during the test that week. Cross was the only person in the Facility that knew the pair were together and Kanda felt extremely guilty when Cross died the next week.

 

April 2012

Allen went into a long 'clone sickness' stay in one of the pods in the medical bay. He woke up for Master/Slave week. Luckily no one was paired with a psychopath this time around. Kanda was age regressed at the end of April along with most of the other exorcists except for Alma. He became everyone's big brother again.

  

May - June 2012

Kanda received a rather good nsfw birthday gift from Lavi at one of the private onsens in the new F3. Tyki released his tease out to feed  causing Kanda and the other Exorcists to go on a tease-squashing spree. Back in F1, Lenalee got together a cake and party for Komui's birthday. Kanda didn't want to go and got shocked every time he tried to swear. Kanda took Alma to the medical bay after the found the boy unconscious on the floor of their apartment. Kanda wouldn't leave the pod room until Alma awakened.

 

July 2012

Before the Consortium attacked the station (they were not happy about Val's betrayal and wanted the station back), their collars started to change randomly. Kanda tried to help his friend Allen when their collars turned gold and caused Allen to start bleeding out. After the Consortium ships made contact, Kanda took it upon himself to exterminate as many of them as he could. He focused on keeping the medical bay safe.

 

August 2012

Val seemed different after the attack, and she immediately  moved everyone back in to F1 claiming that it was the safest place to be. Kanda gathered sweets from his fellow exorcists to give to Lavi on his birthday since they couldn't make him a cake. That along with an 'idea' Kanda had proved to be a good present for the redhead.

 

September 2012

With repairs done to Alpha Omega to make it a stable place to be again, the rats were allowed back out of F1 and into the rest of the station.  Kanda and Alma were once again both turned into girls for Gender Swap week, but at least this time Kanda and Lenalee were able to exchange clothing. At the end of the month Val sent them on a long overdue F3 trip to places in The Dark Tower series.

 

October 2012

The exorcists gravitated to Manhattan since it was familiar and most of them had been there in a previous F3. Kanda searched for food once they were settled and brought back Alma his favorite thing, Mayonnaise.  Once back at the station, Kanda and Lavi decide to have a picnic in the park on the station. It wasn't very pleasant as the two had a serious discussion about Lavi and Tyki. They patched things up eventually.

 

November 2012

At the beginning of the month, Allen woke up from a stay in the pod due to clone sickness. Kanda and everyone else were relieved to hear he was back.

Alma was terminated and Kanda didn't know how to handle it. If it weren't for Lavi he would have gone into a blind rage. The redhead and the other exorcists tried to talk him out of feeling like a failure, but it was a guilt that wouldn't leave him. This didn't make Lavi being taken as the 'voice' for the Weeping Angels any better, and he couldn't stand not being able to do anything for the redhead besides comfort him afterwards.

 

December 2012

Kanda and Lenalee were stuck in a Saw-inspired trap at the beginning of December. They had three hours to find a key hidden inside one of their bodies and fill a bucket with three liters of their blood. Lenalee also had to remove two of her organs when the test asked for more. Allen had to watch them and was able to come to their rescue once the door unlocked. The week after was much calmer, and with Kanda's healing powers no longer being blocked he recovered from the previous week. His brush with death and his newly appointed outfit for the week, a playboy bunny costume, Lavi didn't want to waste time. They finally go all the way.

Shikamaru called Kanda and others together to distract Val, with the upcoming anniversary of her take-over they decided they couldn't be too careful.

 

January 2013

Kanda had to bare all of his scars at the beginning of January. Since he was spending most of his time in the pod room waiting for Lavi to wake up, he was also sprouting white roses from the back of his hair thanks to Drosselmeyer's antics. With all the trauma the Black Order had been dealing with, Kanda lost his normal mean-ness and actually thanked Link for bringing him food. The crow was disturbed.

 

February 2013

Valentine's week was interrupted by 'Fruits Basket' week, in which Lavi was changed into a small rabbit after a girl hugged him. Kanda was shocked to see Lenalee waiting in the pod room for Allen to wake up in a pretty dress. After some brotherly protective nonsense he found out the two were a couple. Lenalee invited Kanda and Lavi over for dinner once Allen woke as a sort of double date/family meal. 

A new Itachi arrived and Kanda didn't know what to make of him, it caused him to be distant and worried Lavi.

 

March 2013

For their last F3, they were sent to 'planet M6-117' from the movie Pitch Black. The sun stayed up for the first two weeks, causing all of the exorcists besides Kanda to resemble lobsters. Kanda found Lavi quickly since the redhead still couldn't walk very well. When the eclipse hit Val broke them off into teams with light sources that only stayed lit if two people were holding them. Kanda found Allen and Itachi and traveled with them, which Lavi didn't like. Kanda reassured him as best as he could that Lavi had nothing to worry about.  The three managed not to get eaten by the bioraptors and made contact with most of the other exorcists.

Once back in Alpha Omega, Val revealed to them that due to a malfunction on her part, the station would be passing through an asteroid field. The damage was expected to be severe and she was going to try to crash land the station on a different planet than originally planned. Kanda tried to spend the last moments on the station with his friends before being forced into a pod by Tyki, who had made a plan with Lavi to try and save them all before the crash (Hand waived). It would be the last thing that Kanda remembered.
